The story behind Piccolo Tifoso

Piccolo Tifoso was born in autumn of 2024, after a dream. Yes, a dream. Per years, we watched our father with soccer, and he seemed like a cartoon character when his team made a goal. He was fun, lively, and emotional, and we could not tell if he was happy or mad. The spirit of soccer is like that, right? Passionate, intense, vibrant. We wanted to capture this spirit with Piccolo Tifoso, and we did it.

One night, after a game with Milan was on the television, we fell asleep with this in our mind. Then, we dreamt about a little devil, but it was a cartoon character. He had a pitchfork, but he was nice and laughed like a little boy. We woke up the next morning with an idea – capture this little devil from our dream.

Then, a few nights later, we had another dream – but this time with a cute snake. It was blue with a smile, and it was also a cartoon character. We woke up curious, and wanted to understand – where are these dreams coming from? Then, we did some research. We found the mascots from Serie A soccer, and then we realized these cartoon characters were coming from there.

It is obvious that Italy loves soccer, and there are tons of things for big fans. Official shirts, unofficial sweatshirts, jerseys, keychains. But what about for little fans? Why isn’t there more for them? There is something here and there, but we did not find a line of soccer clothing themed for the little fans. So, we did some research, and we decided that a soccer themed clothing line was our mission.

First, we looked up all the teams from Serie A and B. The colors, the mascots, the cities. Then, we took some inspiration from Italian things, like proverbs, Finally, we combined everything and decided that Italian kids deserve cute clothing, with a connection to Italian soccer, and an Italian spirit. Voilà – here is Piccolo Tifoso.
