Piccolo Tifoso – our photo shoot

The day is finally here for the Piccolo Tifoso shooting! After months of planning, we did it. But to do a photo shoot, what did we have to do? It takes a lot of time, energy, and patience to do it.

Before anything, we looked for a child modeling agency. We wanted to pick some kids with innocent but strong looks. We chose a few adorable models, but it was not easy! One of our models plays soccer in real life, and this was a strong point to choose him.

Then, we looked for a child photographer and we found one. Our photographer was a kind woman, with patience and love for children. She had a lot of experience with children’s photo shoots, and we decided she was perfect for this job. It was important for us because we wanted a natural and organic connection between our models and the photographer.

After the models and photographer, we had to create a plan. A vision for the scene, the props, the positions, the clothes, a strategy for organizing the kids. We decided to recreate a soccer field. Grass, a soccer net, soccer balls, Italian music. With a bit of luck and a little conversation, we decided to get a variety of pieces to incorporate. A jean jacket, two hoodies, a onesie, a few T-shirts.

Then, on the morning of the 19^th of June 2025, the shooting happened – and it was a success! It was a beautiful day, with a lot of laughter and smiles. We also included our own mascot in the shooting – Consuelo! Consuelo is twenty-three years old and is our dear turtle we have had since she was one week old. A t-shirt was inspired by her, and we decided she was important to incorporate into the photo shoot. It was her first experience with the big camera, so she was a bit shy.
